Love & Bananas
C4B's first feature film, played in more than 100 theaters across the U.S. and premiered on Starz. From the start, the film received rave reviews from film critics at the New York Times, Hollywood Reporter, LA Times and the San Francisco Chronicle. It won multiple awards at a number of film festivals and also won the Genesis Award for best documentary of the year from the Humane Society of the United States. This prestigious honor recognizes filmmakers for producing outstanding works which raise public awareness of animal issues.
Beyond raising important awareness, the film supported our impact campaign to raise money to rescue elephants in Asia. To date, we have supported the rescues of 7 elephants in need, broken ground on a sanctuary in Laos and raised money to enable “Elephant Whisper” Lek Chailert and Elephant Nature Park to buy more land critical to the species survival.
In 2023 Love & Bananas was named one of the top 100 nature documentaries of all time by Rotten Tomatoes. Love & Bananas currently has a 94% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

From different walks of life and with different journeys to recovery, these survivors have faced the unimaginable: a sudden heart attack that changed everything. Each story is a reminder that heart disease doesn’t discriminate—it can affect anyone, often without warning.
Through their raw and personal experiences, this series sheds light on the hidden risks of heart disease and delivers a life-saving message to those who may be in danger and don’t even realize it. Because awareness isn’t just power—it’s the key to saving lives.
