Gala: Reimagined – Easterseals DFV’s Virtual Event with Change for Balance

Team C4B proudly produced this year’s virtual gala for Easterseals DuPage & Fox Valley. Due to the pandemic, this black-tie event was “reimagined” for a virtual setting, and it was our mission to make sure the experience was just as energetic and moving as it would have been in person.

Actor and disability advocate Michael Patrick Thornton hosted the gala from his own Gift Theatre in Chicago. CEO Theresa Forthofer and Board Chair Craig Boroughf chimed in from Easterseals headquarters to honor Jim Alviti with the Alviti Changemaker, as well as Shirley and Corbett Ryan with the Crystal Heart Award. The event streamed live on May 1, 2021, with portions pre-recorded by team C4B, and live portions filmed from NCTV17 Studios in Naperville, Illinois.
